"Jackie Dallas, creator and founder of HotSet, is a medical doctor and filmmaker based out of Los Angeles.

She did a general surgery internship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, with trauma rotations at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, which was one of the sites hit hardest by the pandemic. Afterwards, she did her residency in pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also has extensive experience as an academic and clinical researcher with over 13 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in numerous presentations at industry conferences regarding her study outcomes.

In 2014, she moved to California to pursue a career in the filming industry and has since worked as both a cast and crew member on notable productions.
This allows her to bring a unique perspective into finding solutions during this pandemic utilizing her medical training and knowledge of production sets to come up with this application, HotSet.
